Apple Motion export shows blur and delay with green screen or Magic Mask

Export of Apple motion does not reflect what I have edited in the timeline.

There is a weird blur and delay of either the green screen effect or the magic mask applied to the figure in the centre.

It displays with an odd doubling of the footage and blurs between frames.

This below is how it is viewed in the timeline

I have used masks to emulate a character phasing through a ghost character, so the ghost character (middle) is green screened in, the negative effects only seem to be affecting his movement. But it looks fine when reviewed in the timeline.

I do not have access to Magic Mask (I'm stuck in version 5.4.7), so I can't help with that. Somebody else would have to jump in to help you with Magic Mask issues. However, alpha is alpha...

What are the video specs? Green Screen footage size and frame rate compared to the background video size and frame rate AND the project settings for size and frame rate. Do they all match?

Do you have Motion Blur turned on? (If so, turn it off!)

Try adding Matte Magic and dial down the Levels disclosure triangle. Set Black to 0.5 and Bias to 0.75 (to start) and see if that helps get rid of that ghosting. Play with those settings to see if it helps (leave Shrink, Feather and Erode alone). (You don't want to apply too much as it will likely start affecting the subject's outline appearance, like hair detail, etc...)

HTH (hope more people get involved with this issue!)
