Apple Maps live traffic not showing after iOS 27 update with 3D city data

Hi everyone,

I recently updated my device to the official iOS 27 release and noticed that the live traffic overlay (red, yellow, and blue lines) has completely stopped showing up in my local city.

Here is the strange part: I compared it with a friend's phone running the exact same iOS 27 version right next to mine. Their app hasn't cached the new 3D buildings yet (it still shows the standard flat 2D layout) and their traffic lines work perfectly. My phone renders the full 3D "Detailed City Experience" but shows zero traffic.

I have tried clearing the map cache, toggling "Routing & Traffic" off and on in Location Services, and even tilting the map completely flat back into 2D mode with a two-finger swipe down. The traffic lines stay permanently missing on my device.

Is anyone else seeing their live traffic completely black out once the 3D map data takes over in their region? Hoping to find out if this is a known regional data stream bug with the new iOS release.
