Why does this call failed issue continue to resurface every few months? I've written to this forum a few times regarding the issue. and I'm usually able to find a solution but the fact the issue continues to persist every few months feels problematic. And the issue has to do with someone calling my iPhone and it rings on my mac studio desktop and I go to answer the call on my desktop and it says "call failed. to make and receive calls, make sure iphone is nearby and on the same wifi network as this mac." my phone is right next to me and i NEVER have the wifi on, its always ethernet so why are the calls failing all of a sudden when I've fixed this issue at least twice in the past year. I went to the facetime application on my desktop just now and clicked the "enable wifi calls" button. (but why is it asking me to enable when I've been enabled in the past?)
