Question

iPhone 17: Pixelated display and unstable wireless dongle after iOS 27.

After update to IOS27, my iPhone 17 finally ends with the pixelated problem connected by cable on a MB GLA200. But the pixelated problem still remain w. a wireless dongle, I didn´t see any change with the new IOS27. Bluetooth and WIFI connection to the wireless dongle are unstable.

Hi there

Please try this to see if you can fix the issues

Reset Network Settings: Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings to clear out corrupted Wi-Fi and Bluetooth configuration files.
Update the Wireless Dongle: Check the manufacturer's website or companion smartphone app for your specific wireless CarPlay adapter to see if a firmware update is available to address iPhone 17 compatibility.
Test Alternative Adapters: Some users found better stability with alternative third-party adapters (like specific newer revisions of Ottocast or Carlinkit), though results can vary.
Revert to Wired CarPlay: Since the direct cable connection pixelation was resolved by iOS 27, using a wired USB connection remains the most stable option while waiting for subsequent iOS or adapter firmware patches.
