iPod classic podcasts appear in single root folder after Golden Gate update

ipod classic with golden gate

After updating to Golden Gate when I sync my iPod classic my music files are fine but all of my podcasts are in one root file instead of shows and lists.

I can still play them but they are in download date order and all the episodes from all the shows are just in one folder called "root"

Is there a way to get it back to normal like it was before updating the operating system ?

Thanks for any help in advance

Mike

Good day Mike,

I experience the same problem. Apple in the Netherlands was unaware of this issue and although their attitude was friendly they thought that the iPod Classic would probably no longer be supported . I told them that I wish I had known this before I installed 27 (which cannot be reversed) and I would have stayed with Tahoe 26.7. Perhaps they'll come up with a solution or a patch.

Regards, Alfred
