Hi guys! Are you experiencing cellular data issues (I use Ting) after the iOS 27 update? Since the update, cellular data has been going in and out and not working at all. I contacted Ting, who told me they have been getting lots of complaints about the cellular data since people have updated to the new IOS, and I'll need to wait for a new update. I was hoping there was a quick fix someone would know about! I use a 17e. Thanks!

It sounds like a carrier issue. Carriers issue much of the software/firmware for cellular calling and data. In my experience, these issues can generally be resolved by the carrier reprovisioning the eSIM or SIM. I've personally not had good luck with Over the Air (OTA) provisioning and now I just head to my carrier's service center when I have an issue. Good luck.
They told me to go to settings > cellular > cellular data network, and enter VZWINTERNET into the cellular data APN, but told me its a temporary fix they've been giving people. Hope that helps!
Please contact your carrier. Carriers provide a lot of the software for the modem. You can check if your carrier has done an OTA update by going to this path,
iPhone > Settings > General > About > if an update is available a notification will appear in a few seconds. Follow the on screen instructions.

I’m having the same issues on an iPhone 15 pro. Oddly enough that my other iPhone 17 pro max has no issues. Also with Ting and waited a hour to talk to someone yesterday. Did all the resets, even tried switching eSIM and still didn’t work. Real frustrating.

Yes, it’ll help Ting customers until Ting fixes the issue and sends the fix to Apple.
Did they mention anything about the settings for MMS or personal hotspot?
No, they did not. They just gave me the cellular data APN and told me to wait for the IOS to update
