Officially, no. Not compatible.
The iPhone 18 Pro camera plateau is reportedly a tenth of a millimeter higher, but dimensions are otherwise the same.

While the iPhone 17 Max and iPhone 18 Max have the same overall physical dimensions, Apple differentiates its own cases for these two models of iPhone. Cases designed for either model do not state compatibility with the other.
This differentiation might reasonably suggest that these cases are not interchangeable between the iPhone 17/18 models due to other less obvious physical differences between these iPhones - such as, perhaps, changes to the camera plateau that incorporate the camera system.
As such, you would be wise to assume that cases designed for the iPhone 17 Max are incompatible with the new iPhone 18 Max.
