Stopped syncing Notes app to iCloud.

My MacBook and MacMini stopped syncing the Notes app data. Then I toggled off and on "Sync the Mac" in the iCloud settings on both machines to enable Notes sync to iCloud. After that all my iCloud notes dissappered from both machines. I can see my notes in iCloud but cannot connect my Notes app to the iCloud from neither machine. Where is the problem?
