How do I stop Siri from changing words in Mail on iOS 27?

In iOS 27 Siri has started changing words in Mail after I've typed, frequently changing the context of the sentence. This doesn't appear to be a spell check issue. It's over riding what I said to change the meaning. How do I turn this off. I've turned off spell check, but I have a hunch that's not going to fix it.
