Mail not syncing between iPhone and Mac - again

This issue comes back again and again.... always following a software update.

The difference this time is that if I read or delete an email from my phone my Mac recognises that and does the same. If I do it on my Mac (Studio), the iPhone is still showing messages as unread / undeleted
