I use iphone 16. I have recently updated my phone to ios 27. After the update I can’t delete/remove any app from my phone. I tried every troubleshooting as guided by apple support experts. Option to delete/remove app doesn’t appear anywhere. Has anyone else been facing this issue? And if so how have you rectified it?
Go to Settings > Screen Time > Apps & Websites > Restrictions (under Apps & website description)
Once there, toggle “Deleting Apps” to ‘Allowed’

Make sure
Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions >
list on top - Content & Privacy Restrictions is switch ON (green)
if is ON switch it OFF then back ON again
If you are a member on a Family Sharing plan, then it is the Organizer that would have to make that change. You won't have the option to override any setting made by the Organizer.
If you are not a member in a Family Sharing plan, then we would need to see what is on your screen.
The most common reason the "Delete App" option completely disappears is a restriction turned on in your Screen Time settings. Even if you don't remember changing this, iOS updates can sometimes glitch or reset certain security toggles
In Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions, the option under iTunes & App Store Purchases for deleting apps used to let us choose Allow or Don’t Allow. That setting has vanished in iOS 27. I am unsure where to go to remove apps now. I cannot delete apps from iPhone storage, and no option to delete or remove an app appears anywhere after the iOS 27 update.

Do you mean this setting that I found in its usual place in Screen Time on iOS 27?
