iPhone 17 Pro frame lifted after drop; AppleCare+ repair/replacement options

Hi everyone,

I accidentally dropped my iPhone 17 Pro on a concrete floor. The top-left edge of the frame on the front is now slightly lifted and no longer sits flush with the screen glass. The screen isn't cracked. Luckily, my screen protector saved it.

I have a question: in a case like this, does Apple usually repair the phone or replace the whole unit?

I have AppleCare+. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Apple will make a judgement as far as whether the damage requires repair or replacement.

Apple will repair the phone if possible as the first option. If repairs will not "renew" the iPhone, Apple will offer a replacement iPhone of similar model and storage capacity. You may or may not receive a phone in the same color as the original.

It all depends on the availability of replacement units at the time.

This is going to be one of those times where you don't really know until you know.
