Siri cannot find Reminders lists on iPhone 16 Pro with iOS 27

Having an issue with iOS 27 on an iPhone 16 Pro where Siri cannot find my lists when I ask it to add something to Reminders. A typical exchange will start with me asking to add "milk" to my list entitled "Shopping." Then Siri will search, and ultimately say no such list exists, even though it does.

I ask Siri to find other Reminders lists on my device, and it says it cannot do so. However, the lists are syncing to iCloud if I manually edit them.

Things I have tried with no success:

Restarting the phone.
Toggling/turning off iCloud in full and re-syncing.
I have removed the Reminders app and re-added it. (this only caused Reminders to duplicate my lists on iCloud's servers.
Checking my internet connections.
Using Siri's visual recognition to point it in the direction of the correct list. Sometimes this works, other times I get a message, "Uh oh, there's a problem. Please try again."

Further, when I went to delete duplicate lists on iCloud, I received several server error messages.

I'm not sure what to do at this point. If anyone has any follow-up questions I'll be sure to answer them.

Are you using a VPN?

If so, remove it to test, as turning one off is not likely to resolve a problem with accessing Apple Servers.

For me on iOS 27, all I say is "Siri, add milk to my Shopping List" and it works just like it did using iOS 26.

I could suggest resetting your iPhone Settings since it does not affect your data, but I have not seen where anyone else has posted the same issue, so it is just a shot in the dark.

It may be best to pursue this with Apple directly where they can perform remote diagnostics on your phone.

I have been having the exact same issue. It started when I updated so it sounds like  broke something. I’ve even had Siri create the list I was looking for. Then, when I ask Siri to find the list, she can’t even do that.

The only way I have been able to get it to work was to keep the reminder app open. Ask Siri what’s on my screen. She’ll read the lists off. Then I’ll tell her to add something to one of the lists. It works, but only once. Then I’ll have to go through the whole sequence again. At that point, it’s easier to type whatever it is I’m trying to add.

Do you have any profiles at all installed at Settings > General > VPN & Device Management?
Does this happen on both Wifi and Cellular with Wifi turned off?

I'll give it a shot. I am starting to suspect it is server-side though. Playing with iCloud I get some funny messages. I don't think they are accurate, because it's been happening for days, but nonetheless:

Yes, that is odd and 2 messages I have never seen reported here. I checked the System Status page and nothing is being reported for iCloud Reminders and I am able to delete lists on my end as I just tested it now. Sorry I could not be more helpful and it does appear that Apple may have some more information about what you are seeing.

My phone is 16 Pro and I have an update and he won't want to bear it and the phone's memory is big and the Internet is working well if you have any solution to this problem
