Magic Mouse 2 not responding after macOS 27 upgrade.

Hello Apple Community,

After upgrading my MacBook Air 2 to macOS 27, I’ve been facing a persistent issue with my Magic Mouse 2. The mouse connects via Bluetooth and shows as paired, but it does not respond to input. My wireless keyboard works fine, so the problem seems isolated to the mouse.

Here’s what I’ve already tried based on troubleshooting suggestions:

• Verified firmware version (currently 3.1.4, so up to date).

• Confirmed “Install system data and security updates” is enabled.

• Attempted to reset the Bluetooth module (option no longer available in macOS 27).

• Deleted Bluetooth preference files (com.apple.Bluetooth.plist and com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouch.mouse.plist) and restarted.

• Re-paired the Magic Mouse multiple times.

• Tested with Safe Mode and confirmed the issue persists.

Despite these steps, the Magic Mouse still connects but does not respond.

It seems this may be a compatibility or driver issue introduced with macOS 27. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and is there a confirmed workaround or patch from Apple?
