"AI" Spell-checker Suggesting Incorrect Grammar
In the Notes app, I was writing a sentence with a quotation in it ("Look at that! Isn't that just amazing?") and the grammar checker underlined amazing?". It suggested I remove the quotation mark, even though it was clearly ending a complete quote. I right-clicked and chose Report a Concern, and was prompted to fill out an Apple Intelligence feedback form. I didn't realize that spell/grammar check was feeding my writing into an LLM to make suggestions. It's also frustrating because the suggestion was grammatically incorrect. Is there a way to revert to a non-"AI" spell-checker? Or is there somewhere I can write privately where the OS won't intervene in this way?
