Doorbell setup: iPhone compatibility and monthly fees

apple do not produce doorbells, by default no homekit monthly fees is not a thing

but suppose some devices that support homekit could require users make a subscription I have not come across such a thing but the web site of the manufactor of the doorbell would likely clarify it
