I just updated my iPhone 17 pro max to iOS 27.0 I went to change my wallpaper, lock screen and my Home Screen but when I try to change the backgrounds by clicking on a chosen photo, a loading icon pops up and keeps spinning and nothing changes, it seems that it freezes. Has anyone else experienced this and is there anything I can do to fix this?

I have changed a couple wallpaper/lockscreens using pictures I’ve taken or downloaded and not had any issues. However, I created a new picture using Playground to alter a photo I took years ago. My phone behaved as you described but my iPad loaded it just fine. Thanks for reminding me; I intended playing with it further but forgot. If I have any luck I’ll come back.
iOS 27 has BUGS. Connectivity issues now, freezing in apps, battery drainage is faster and the battery is heating up a lot more than usual during charging (it’ll stop charging to allow the battery to cool) and while the phone is in use. I’m annoyed because I’m having to shut it down and reboot it frequently because of freezing and connectivity.
iOS 27.0 update and now I can’t change my wallpaper for my Home Screen and lock screen.
