Remove any protective case, and remove any screen-protective film, keep all fingers save one off the display, and test again.

If problems persist, contact Apple Support, as there may be an issue with the display or digitizer hardware.

If iPhone isn’t responding, and you can’t turn it off then back on, try forcing it to restart.

1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button.
4. When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.

I bought this phone 2 weeks ago and it’s terrible. Impossible to scroll, any scrolling (photos, social media, websites). I will begin to scroll but the phone decides to jump back to the beginning, I can’t scroll anything at this point. Even typing this has been difficult as it keeps jumping to the top of the screen and I lose my place. I’m currently backing up to my cloud and considering a full dump a factory reset? Is there any other options, or are there steps or settings that I should try first? I’m out of my element here and racked with grief for not selecting the Samsung. I’ll be eternally grateful to anyone who may have suggestions. Thank you
