AirPods Pro 3 battery drains quickly with Hearing Assistance

I bought AirPods Pro 3. Everything is working OK, but I've noticed the earbuds use much more battery than I expected. Is there anything I can adjust about the charging? According to Apple's specs, the earbuds' battery should last up to 10 hours. My AirPods appear to consume more than that. Hearing Assistance feature is ON. Could this be a reason? Appreciate any insightful technical information about the earbuds' battery consumption.

19 Testing conducted by Apple in July and August 2025 using preproduction AirPods Pro 3 with MagSafe Charging Case paired with preproduction iPhone 17 Pro units, all with prerelease software. Both volume and amplification level were set to 50% and Transparency was enabled. Testing consisted of full AirPods Pro battery discharge with the Hearing Aid feature on, with no audio playing back from iPhone, until the first AirPod Pro was fully discharged. Battery life depends on device settings, environment, usage, and many other factors.

Thanks for the information. Are there any tips to conserve battery life while wearing hearing aids? I intend to wear AirPods all day, up to 12 hours a day. I rarely listen to any music on my iPhone. Thx
