iPhone 17 battery health at 99% after one month and 35 charge cycles

I bought my iPhone 17 about a month ago, and my battery health has already dropped to 99% after just 35 charge cycles.

Is this normal for a new iPhone? I’m a little concerned because it has only been a month and 35 cycles.

Has anyone else experienced a similar battery health drop on their iPhone 17? Would appreciate some insights on whether this is expected or if I should get it checked.

iPhone 17, iOS 26

Battery Health is shown in whole numbers, not fractions. It's highly likely your battery is 99.9% but would be shown as 99%. My 17 Pro Max, dropped to 99% at about 42 cycles and it wasn't in the least concerning. I traded it in for the 18 Pro Max and it was till at 99% at over 100 charge cycles. While battery health decline isn't linear, you can expect about a 1% decline for up to "about" every 50 charge cycles. Seeing the health dip to 99% after 35 cycles wouldn't be cause for concern. And I'm sure other's have likely seen the same.

You will drive yourself insane if you continually monitor battery health. Batteries decline with every charge, little by little and that can't be stopped or altered.
