Audiobook stops playing without sleep timer.

At night On iPhone listening with any of my AirPods the narration will stop. When I restart it begins at an earlier spot, often a chapter head or at least 5 minutes. What setting am I missing? I have turned sleep timer on and off, set a long custom time and of course turned phone off and on. Happened before and after iOS 27 update
