Lock screen password input box missing on all displays with 4-monitor setup after wake from sleep

I am not running the latest macOS, but I do not recognize the two left most Icons at the top of your display. what is the one that shows ABC and the one next to it that looks like an arch?

if these are third-party add-ons, they could conceivably be contributing to the problem.

in general, To determine whether added software is the problem, run in Safe Mode, where no third-party items are loaded. Display acceleration extensions are also not loaded, so screen updates may be wonky and slow, but ultimately correct.

"Works in Safe Mode, Fails in regular mode" implies, "it's something you added."

Have happens when you hold down three finders on your Trackpad, and the swipe up? See if you can get to the login screen. Report Back the Results.

Why does that display's wallpaper appear different from the others?

What make&model display is that? Is that a display similar to a 4K or 5K display with "the bottom part missing" ? i.e. slightly shorter that a full 4K or 5K display?

Have you just upgraded to macOS 27? Or is another macOS version installed?

Using Terminal in Recovery Mode:

Having this issue...

1. Power Off: your Mac by holding down the power button
2. Power On: the Mac
3. Boot: in Recovery Mode
4. Click: Other
5. Click: Utilities menu
6. Select: Terminal

Having the same thing but it doesn’t matter whether I have external displays connected or not. Blind typing the pw does nothing, using the fingerprint scanner does nothing, swiping the trackpad with fingers from 1 to 5 does nothing. The only thing I can do is to force the laptop off by long pressing the power button
