Stop unauthorized appointments in Calendar

how do i stop unauthorized appointments from appearing on my calendar? there is no option to unsubscribe. I never received email from this politico summit organization so I never subscribed to them…I never access political sites either! As far as I know, only my family can send invites on their calendar!
