Please create a Dark Mode for MacOS Pages. I do a lot of work at night and do not want to stare at a white screen.

My only suggestion is to change the page background to a shade of grey.
In the panel on the right, Document > Section > Background > Colour Fill

One should set that document background back to white when done with the document, as Pages will retain that document background color on save, export, or sharing.
Microsoft Word 16.113.1 allows one to have a dark mode document background with a Preference setting. Upon saving from Word, a normal appearance document results.
