iPhone 18 Pro WiFi issues

I have an iPhone 18 pro as I recently upgraded from my base 13 and have noticed issues when connecting to WiFi. I have full bars however the phone constantly drops and disconnects from the network and the network is barely usable as my phone often switches to cellular to compensate. I know it’s not the network itself as I have several other apple devices connected to it including my old iPhone 13 that work just fine. Is this an IOS 27 issue or is there something wrong with the device?

So I'll leave this here if it helps someone. I had a vpn on my old phone but not on the 18pro. so I downloaded the vpn app , activated the vpn with the same settings as my old phone. then turned off vpn and it worked like a charm. it carried over some setting from iCloud that was messing with the wifi

Any chance you have a VPN installed on your iPhone? If yes, get rid of it. VPNs cause connectivity issues, aren't needed and don't provide the security people have been led to believe.

We have iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max, neither of which are having any issues with Wifi.

Good morning big no VPN, but I do have iCloud private relay enabled which may be doing it I will try without later today thank you!

Unfortunately still having the same issue on this device maybe apple will send out an update that will fix it.
