iPhone Battery Usage daily graph shows 0% after iOS update

Hi everyone,

I updated to iOS 27 on September 14, and the Battery Usage stats were working fine at that time. However, when I checked again today, September 22, I noticed the Battery Usage section (Settings > Battery) is now showing 0% for every day in the Daily Usage graph — even the current day, despite normal charging and usage activity.

What I've noticed:

  • The daily graph line stays flat at 0% across all 7 days shown.
  • However, the detailed chart for "today" (screen on/off breakdown, charging indicator) still displays correctly with actual data.
  • Screen Time (Settings > Screen Time) is tracking completely normally — full week of data, accurate daily averages.
  • No hardware changes or repairs were made to the device.
  • Battery Health and the battery icon/percentage in the status bar both display normally.

Troubleshooting already tried:

  • Restarted the device (soft restart) — no change.
  • Checked for a newer iOS update — currently on the latest available version.

If you contact Apple Support, the first thing that they will ask you to do is perform a Forced Restart on your iPhone. So, if you have not already done this, it would be worth a try.

Unfortunately, users often do not do this correctly. Here's a few more details on the correct method:

Quickly press and release the Up Button

Quickly press and release the Down Button

Hold the Side Button for at least 20 seconds while you ignore the Power Off "Slider". Just keep holding the Side Button until the Apple logo appears in the center of the screen and then release the Side button to allow the iPhone to restart
