Blocking AI in IOS 27
I do not want AI. How can I block all AI functions in IOS 27?

While I too don’t feel the need to be effectively a beta-tester for what is — by many assessments — an immature technology …
… and I’ve not yet upgraded to iOS 27 (although I am using Siri/AI-disabled MacOS 27) …
… not moving forward w/ OS updates as a “blanket plan” might not be the best way to proceed.
If you intend to stay w/ Apple, you WILL be using a newer OS eventually.
It might be argued that making incremental steps along the way is better than trying to digest a huge new OS later.

I did not submit to the beta test for IOS 27. IOS 27, unlike IOA 26, does not allow the owner of an Apple product to easily opt out of the artificial intelligence components and if you successfully navigate the now 12 step process for eradicating it, there are residual, unexplained components which cannot be removed. If it means not buying any more Apple products, well, since replacing my two year old computer with the same components went from $4100 (inc Tax) to $5940 (inc tax) due to AI demand chip shortages, I probably cannot afford it anyway.
My problem with artificial intelligence, mature or not, is philosophical. In order for it to do what it does it must "vacuum" human creation, images, behavior patterns and privacy to draw its conclusions. I will never willingly allow such a process to occur on what I own. That the other manufacturers are worse makes no difference to me.

An excellent summation as to why I too am making every effort to avoid it running on my own personal hardware at present.
Fortunately, my own iPhone 14 is AI-incapable.
Thanks very much. IOS 26 made eradication easier. I think I will continue to use IOS 26.
