iPhone 15 Phone app opens to keypad instead of contacts

I updated my iPhone 15 to iOS 27 recently. Now when I launch the phone app, it opens to the number keypad. I had my device setup to launch to the contacts. I tried the suggested solutions but nothing worked. It always launches to the number keypad.
