Initiate the transfer from your iPhone:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap Family.
- Tap the Add Member button (plus icon or profile icon with a plus).
- Tap Invite Others, then choose Invite in Person (do not text the invite if it suggests your son's contact name).
- Enter your son's Apple Account email or phone number and his password.
Approve from the mother's iPhone:
- On the mother's phone (the current family organizer), a notification will appear under Family asking to transfer the child to another group.
- Approve the request.
Complete on your phone:
- Follow the remaining onscreen prompts on your device to confirm parental consent and finish adding him to your Family Sharing group.
