Getting worse instead of better.

Are you happy now?? All my work from years of the old Apple Pages IS GONE!!!! All my layouts. I started with Aldus PageMaker, and even way back then it was easier to use and more thorough than anything since. Then Adobe bought it out. I tried to do a common maneuver I had done hundreds of times but it wouldn't happen. I phoned Adobe. This is far enough back that one actually got to speak with the programmers (not some CS person with no knowledge and only scripts to recite). The guy told me, and I quote " We couldn't figure out how to do it, so we just dropped it." End quote! Then came the Apple Pages which did not follow the original Apple regimen of being intuitive.*** I struggled with it and finally mastered enough to get by. [By this time I was retired from professional work and just did stuff like my own greeting cards.] Now, tomorrow, I need a Birthday Card, and you didn't just update Pages, you had to do a complete makeover with no intuition involved at all. And you screwed me royally! Do you enjoy tears??!!

I guess I'll use TextEdit to get it done. Sigh!
