How to turn off Apple Pages automatically suggesting file names

Apple Pages in Mac OS27 is automatically suggesting file names for documents (presumably using "AI"). Is there a way to turn this off? Siri is already off and all of the other "AI" junk I could find is off.

Writing in a word processor that is being read or crawled (or whatever you want to call it) by "AI" is like having someone read over your shoulder when you write. It's very distracting and off-putting. Wish they'd just stop with the slop...

Except that ISN'T actually a solution, because it doesn't work... I've followed the suggested guide to turn off AI, and Siri isn't even ON on my machine and it STILL suggests names for my Pages files.

And what I found in my referenced post is that even though AI and Siri are off, one can click on the title bar and the drop down panel still suggests alternative filename choices. Keyword suggests as they are not automatically chosen since one can ignore them.

In my opinion, Pages shouldn't be offering either of automatic or manual alternative selected file names from the title bar. That is taking things too far…

@VikingOSX Siri and AI are both off but it’s not just suggesting names when I click the dropdown menu, it’s literally renaming my document as I type. It goes from “Untitled” then to one generated name to another as my document grows and the narrative becomes more elaborate. Like I said, it’s very distracting. Luckily I never uninstalled the previous version of Pages, so I’ve decided to just go back to it until this is all sorted out.

I just had this happen with a TextEdit file today. I did turn of Siri yesterday, so that wasn't a solution. Since it wasn't a solution, I will be turning Siri back on.

I haven't had it happen in Pages yet, but I haven't created & saved any new Pages documents since upgrading to Golden Gate. In my case, it is clearly a macOS 27/Golden Gate issue.
