My iPhone 14 Pro is turned on -- it's making sounds, and I could hear the phone ring a little while ago -- but the screen is black. All of the articles and videos that address a black screen assume that the phone itself isn't working, but that's not true in my case. I can't call Apple for help with no phone, and they appear to have eliminated the chat function. Please help!

Thanks, but this article didn't help me. It assumes that the phone isn't working. It is. The phone refuses to respond to buttons. I'm going to go to the Apple Store and throw myself on their mercy.
