Apple Support Community email for upvoted reply

Someone else marked your reply as Helpful or simply appreciated your comment, which is why you see a "1" on the Helpful label under your post.

The email you received is not spam. If you don't want to receive emails when someone marks your post as Helpful, then do this:

• Tap your user icon on top of the page.
• Choose Preferences
• Under Messages from Apple, uncheck the one that says Helpful vote milestones.

You will not be told who marked your post as helpful. You don't receive an email for posting the initial question. You can also review the other options in your Preferences under Messages from Apple for other times you would want to receive an email notification. If you have Participation checked, then you will receive an email notification when anyone else adds a post to a thread that you are following.
