sharing and iCloud removed files

when i turned on share (have 2 pc) seems they are turning into clones of each other.

where are files icloud removes

If both PCs are signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud Drive turned on, they will show the same iCloud Drive files. Changes and deletions sync between them, so they can look like “clones” in that respect.


If files were actually deleted, check the Recycle Bin first. You can also go to iCloud.com > iCloud Drive > Recently Deleted. Apple says deleted iCloud Drive files can normally be recovered there for up to 30 days.


If you only see a cloud icon next to a file, it hasn’t been deleted. It’s still in iCloud and just isn’t currently downloaded to that PC.
