Missing predictive text bar when using Magic Keyboard after update to iPadOS 27

The predictive text bar was missing on my apps when the Magic Keyboard was in use after updating to iPadOS 27 . The The predictive text bar returned when I disconnected the keyboard from my iPad. I discovered that the culprit was Stage Manager. I turned it off and the predictive text bar came back. I’m not sure if this is supposed to happen when Stage Manager is in use or if it’s a bug. Just wanted to share this info.

Hi there

Please try this

xOpen the Settings app on your iPad.
Tap Multitasking & Gestures.
Select Full Screen Apps instead of Stage Manager (or turn Stage Manager off).

Thanks for your reply but as I stated in my message using stage manager was the culprit. I have Full Screen Apps enabled. Predictive text still does not work as it did before as it does not give suggestions for text I type in.
