Contact Search Extremely Slow After iOS 27.0 Update

Is anyone else experiencing a very slow Contact search on iPhone after updating to iOS 27.0?

Before the update, searching for a contact was almost instantaneous. Now, when I search for a name or phone number in the Contacts app, it can take around 1 minute or even longer to show the results.

Issue:

• Contact search has become extremely slow

• Sometimes results take nearly a minute to appear

• The problem started after the recent iOS 27.0 update

• Contacts themselves are present and accessible; the issue seems to be specifically with the search function

I have already tried restarting the iPhone, but the issue still persists.

Is this a known iOS 27.0 bug? Has anyone else faced the same problem, and has anyone found a working solution?
