The part number is more useful for identifying the Mac and its regional variant. 

Apple states that the variable portion of the part number differs by country or region. For the 2026 MacBook Air M5, Apple lists the applicable part-number families for both the 13-inch and 15-inch models.

However, the part number should not be treated as proof of the physical assembly location.

If your question is specifically “Where was this particular MacBook assembled?”, the most direct evidence would be an “Assembled in …” marking on the original packaging or product labeling.

Not sure what or why you are asking but Mac computers are primarily assembled in China and Vietnam by manufacturing partners like Foxconn and Quanta Computer.
