iPhone/MacBook Mail Apps Not in Synch

Beginning yesterday my iPhone 15 Pro (iOS 26.7) Mail app gets a "Cannot Get Mail, the connection to the server failed. Server code 'AUTHENTICATION-FAILED', server message 'AUTHENTICATE invalid credentials'" when trying to connect to my Yahoo email account (other connected accounts are fine). All the accounts on my MacBook Air M3 (Tahoe 26.6.2) Mail app are still working fine. Suggestions on getting my phone and laptop back together on Yahoo will be most welcome, and TIA for any response.
