Don’t get Apple Watch low battery haptics, not even on new Apple Watch 12

My Apple Watch 9 stopped giving haptic feedback/vibrations for low battery (when you reach 10%) since watchOS 26. I decided to let it be since warranty had expired.

last week I got an Apple Watch 12. Set it up as new, no backup put back. Checked all notification settings. Made sure to set it to prominent. All notifications work, haptics work. I still don’t get the haptic vibration you used to get telling you to charge.

Am I really unlucky that it just happens with the new watch as well? Or did apple get rid of this vibration? Or am I missing something?
