Why doesn’t the screen lock moon phase widget match the apple weather app moon phase? iPhone Pro 16 iOS 27.0

6:56 AM on the Lock Screen widget vs 6:55 AM in the Weather app is a very different situation. That is only a 1-minute discrepancy, and it is quite normal.
Why the 1-minute difference occurs
The Moon does not literally have a single universal “moonset time” rounded identically everywhere. The calculated time depends on:
- the exact geographic coordinates
- elevation and local horizon
- atmospheric/refraction assumptions
- the astronomical calculation and rounding
- when each Apple interface last refreshed its data
So Apple may calculate the underlying moonset as something like 06:55:xx, with one interface displaying 6:55 AM and another rounding or truncating/updating it as 6:56 AM.
The important point is that 6:55 vs 6:56 does not indicate a display problem or an incorrect Moon phase calculation.
