I just upgraded to IOS27, iphone17. I used to like playground when it first came out, it generates cute animations with features much aligned to the original picture. Now it just generates something that it "thinks" should be. Why do Apple turn a good playful software to another junk?

Apple runs beta versions of new software which users can try out and give feedback. If you've got a secondary Apple device then maybe you could take part in future. You should really run beta on a secondary device, not your main one, in case you lose data. Have a look at the following website and do a bit of web research to see if it's for you

You can still do that. After you tap the "+" to create a new image, tap the Style dropdown in the upper-right corner. Select whichever you prefer.
