Accessing tunes bought through with an old email.

Hello Apple - I'm at the end of my tether - this has taken years actually but so many tracks which I've bought I now cannot listen to - this screen grab is the message I get. However I cannot athorise because I'm on a different email now than when I bought it so when I try to authorise eventually I'm asked for a password which was the one I used to use and is now gone in the ether .... I've just let this run but now I'm tired of trying and trying and I wonder if you can help me please - the old email was a btinternet one ... please help .... many thanks Joanne McCrum

You have to be using the same account. I am guessing that you created a new account instead of simply updating the email address on the old one. The support article Change your Apple Account primary email address - Apple Support outlines various methods for changing the email address (Apple ID) you use for your Apple Account while retaining everything in your account.

Note that since you may have now created a new account with the new email address you will have to change the address on your first account using yet another new email address which Apple has never seen before. They don't let you re-use email addresses once they have seen them being used with another account.
