I can't use Airdrop to share anything (photos/pdf's/etc.) from iPhone or iPad to iMac. I can use Airdrop to share from the iMac to iPhone and iPad. What is blocking this, and can it be fixed?
iMac 24″, macOS 26.6
Hi,
Restart the devices, iPhone, iPad, and iMac which could solve your issue.
Also trying go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services on your iMac and ensure it is turned on, as updates can occasionally disrupt local wireless interface states.
Also reboot your router and test
Thank you. Unfortunately, tried these options, but they did not resolve the problem.
There, are quite a few clips on YouTube, about Airdrop, between iPhone and iMac!
