iTunes Song Library sorts songs incorrectly by ignoring articles

How can I get iTunes Song Library to sort in correct Alphabetical Order? It currently takes off the A or The etc. and sorts by the first Word in the title, like putting a song title with "A New..." under N instead of A? Or "The New..." under N instead or under T? Its annoying, as I the songs are uploaded and stored by their full title.

Right click on any track, go to the "sorting" tab and you will see that iTunes standard operation is to truncate the "A" or "the". You can add it back yourself by editing the "sort as" field. For a band or album you can highlight all tracks and do it all at once.

As far as I know, there is no setting in iTunes to stop that behavior for future additions to your music collection.
