There are six icons shown when you display the home screen by touching the crown, five surrounding a central one with an icon for the full list at the buttom. Five of the six are the most frequently used, as all six used to be, but now the Siri icon is pinned in the middle. It appears that this is a "feature" of Siri AI. Turning off Siri on the phone and restarting it as Siri Classic and then restarting the Watch had things revert to the old behavior.

You mean the Dynamic App Grid, not the home screen (not sure that term is even used for anything on the watch). It's not just the most frequently used apps. It's the "most popular and frequently used."
There are no settings to adjust it. If you're happy with Classi Siri then you seem to have found your solution.

Well, granted, that was how it used to be referenced, but that isnât what it is called now. Regardless, you canât do anything about the particular feature you are concerned via settings. It respond to you usage and will adjust to that use.

Thatâs not a âhome screenâ, nor is there any user settings for it beyond what you have done.

For some reason, that page in the manual doesn't show the Dynamic App Grid. It appears when you first press the digital crown. You then either have to tap the grid icon on the screen or scroll with the digital crown.

Can you provide a more meaningful description or even a photo? It isnât entirely clear what you are referring to. I use Siri on my watch quite often, but thereâs no âSiri on my home screenâ (and I assume you mean watch face).

If I search "alien abductions," I also get pages of hits. And yes, I'm quite aware that it changed with watchOS 27. That's why I explained what Apple calls it and a little bit about the functionality. I pulled some of that information right from Apple's support documents. If you use the correct name, you'll also find lots of hits.

Well, they did, but they didnât đ¤ˇđźââď¸. I think we got it worked out. I personally like the new design. I never use the Grid View, so the Dynamic is welcome, BUT, I agree what shows up is something of limited use. Currently I see an airline app, which was useful last week, but I am no longer traveling so, not so much this week.

Years ago, when you went to search on the iPhone, it brought up apps and people it thought you ight be looking for based on recent use, time of day and location. I loved it. However, many people found it very creepy. Apple seems to have dialed back a bit this time and made it less "smart."
I wonder if this feature will get any improvements or if it will languish until Apple removes it. At that point, there will be people who will be furious.

To use Grid or List view now you touch the icon at the bottom of the home screen. The icon changes depending on which view you have chosen in Settings under App View.
Yeah, I think this thread kinda went off the rails (I take some of the blame đ).
No problem. I hadn't realized Apple dropped the term.
