Watch notification since 18pro upgrade

Since upgrading to iPhone 18pro not all notificationas are going to my Apple watch. Text messages seem to work however mail notifications to not have sound or haptic. Also Ring alerts and other news alerts that I had received on watch when on 16pro are also not received. i've re-paired the watch twice
