Mac Meeting your Expectations Being as Good as a PC:

Parallels is third-party software that is written over the internal code of your iOS. After Intel was not longer an option for modern Macs, It took a few months to get Virtual Machines to be able to be installed. If all you use is Windows and view it in 8K, then why not just use that, if it suits your needs? Fine by me.

Golden Gate does not permit the installation of an Intel-based software --much of which is made for Windows-based PCs, comparatively-peaking. The discontinuance of Intel-based software restricted usage. So, contact the Developer, requesting if they have software to use on it that is compatible.

I will keep my 2017 and 2028 Mac's as I need to use older software and run VMs. Not so long ago, you could purchase and use a one-time-forever license. Now, having been bought ow, your only option is to purchase an annual subscription to install and use the software. If previously installed, then you do not need to pay for the VM software --once the license is gone --it is gone.

I Was just really surprised by the bang for the buck that still exists in these 6,1's to be honest. I've had it a couple of years an it's actually my daily driver. Thought I'd test the D300's & was pleasantly surprised with the outcome!

That being said, I barely use Windows but still like to keep a version or two handy. Don't need any software that's compatible to run at 8K+ that's for sure and I also remember the one time forever license. The once a year ***!

Ever since I was a young fella and challenged a relative with a brand new Mac Pro I'd gone with him to order from

CompUSA ($10K+), to a contest against my custom built, Peltier equipped, Windows monster I'd built, you couldn't have GIVEN me a Mac for FREE! That day, with him on the phone crying laughing, as I was unplugging everything I could before she set the house on fire. That was the day I became a believer & have had a Mac ever since...

Limitations and Using Two Windows VM Versions Installed:

Windows 11 can only be installed on a Silicon Mac. Time will tell from the for later Windows versions. So, if you need a few versions, then downgrading to an Intel-based Mac is the way to get about it. Note that Intel-based Macs are not longer upgradeable on macOS27 Golden Gate and on. macOS Tahoe is the last macOS version that Windows 95 through 10 out be installed.
