Transferring old iTunes library from Time Machine to new Mac mini

I have spent years converting my CD collection to iTunes. I have a back up on Time Machine and having recently purchased a Mac mini 6 I am keen to transfer my collection. The last iTunes back up on Time Machine would have been at least 6 years old. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
