Why can't Logic Pro 12 open without the sound library

Why can't Logic Pro 12 open without the sound library (9GB of realestate gone).

It would be nice to have the option to choose between an audio only workspace, and and fullscale Library one.

Now I have to accept the internal library, and loose the pointer for my external drive if it's not plugged in, and then delete the internal library and redirect Logic to the external one, when I'm in that mood.

It should be a no-brainer to make it optional
