iTunes artwork incorrect on MP3 tracks after syncing to iPhone 17 Pro

After syncing on my new iPhone 17 pro, the iTunes artwork on my MP3 tracks are incorrect.

FYI - None of my music is available online, they are bootlegs and white labels because I hate commercial crap music on streaming services, so please do not suggest that I check the box to search for album artwork because it doesn't exist.

Tracks on my old iPhone 13 Pro did not have this issue.

The iPhone groups songs by their Album and Album Artist tags and shows one cover per album, so bootlegs that share an album name, or have it blank, get lumped together and all show whichever cover it picked. Give each release its own Album tag, add the art in Get Info > Artwork so it's embedded in the MP3, then untick Sync Music, sync, tick it again and sync to clear the phone's old artwork. Katalog, a Mac library app that runs alongside Music, can write the art into a batch of files at once. mine, so grain of salt.
